We have been delighted to be working with the children from Harden Primary School this year. They all came over to us before Christmas to hear the story of the Nativity and to help create an amazing nativity scene which was greatly admired. Just before Easter this year the children visited again to hear about the events of Holy Week. They enjoyed activities on palm leaf making, easter garden making, sharing bread and wine, learning about the 30 pieces of silver that Judas took to betray Jesus, and foot and hand washing. They learned so much and were a credit to the school and their parents and carers.
We were delighted to have the Y6 leavers from the Primary School to spend a day with us just before they finished school. We had lots of activities to do. We gifted each child with a notebook so they could collect messages from their friends and the hit of the day was the photo booth. What a wonderful way to say goodbye to these fantastic children. We wish them every success and blessing as they start at their new schools.
